This page will serve as a basic how to play guide for Fantasy Realm Online. While there is very little information available at this time, we urge you to check back often, as new information is being added all the time! Feel free to edit this guide with any tips, tricks, and suggestions.

Character Classes | Description |
Barbarian | The Barbarian can deal the most damage of any fighter and usually chooses dual wielding or equipping two-handed weapons with light to medium armor. |
Knight | A heavily armored fighter with minor spell casting abilities. Prefers one-handed weapons and shield. |
Ranger | Ranged weapons, melee weapons and some magical abilities; the Ranger brings versatility to any situation. |
Rogue | An ingenuitive fighter with decent damage output and great utility. |
Wizard | The most skilled magician of Moon Haven; the low armor values and minimal choice of weapons is made up for with a variety of spells. |
Merchant | A short guide to crafting and the merchant class is included in this section. |

Absorption | Togglable skill that allows you to turn opponents damage into life gains at the cost of spirit. |
Adrenaline | Togglable skill that allows you to deal extra damage at the cost of spirit points. |
Alchemy | Allows you to brew potions and salves for healing and other purposes. |
Archery | Allows you to equip and use bows in combat. |
Fighting Axe Fighting | Allows you to equip and use axes in combat |
Black Magic | Allows you to add black magic scrolls to your spell book and cast them. Focuses on fire and powerful offensive dark magic spells. |
Blacksmithy | Allows you to craft weapons, armor, tools and other items from metal. |
Carpentry | Allows you to craft weapons, armor, tools and other items from wood. |
Concentration | Passive skill that allows you to regain MP/SP at a faster rate. |
Demonic Posession | Allows you to take control of enemy npcs and use them for your will in combat. |
Detect Hidden | Passively reveals hidden treasures throughout the world and allows you to use the skill interactively to reveal hidden players. |
Dodging | Passively allows you to evade enemy attacks in combat. |
Druidry | Allows you to add druidry scrolls to your spell book and cast druidry class spells. Focuses on spells of healing, creation and pure magic. |
Enchantment | *Not implemented yet. Enhances crafting skills to allow you to craft magical weapons and armor. |
Farming | Allows you to grow produce, reagents, and other crops. |
Healing | Allows you to use healing salve on yourself and allies, letting you regain life faster. |
Heavy Armor | Increases your defense while wearing heavy armor. |
Hiding | Allows you to hide from the view of other players and npcs. |
Leatherwork | Allows you to craft weapons, armor and other items from hides and scales. |
Lifetap | Toggleable skill that allows you to gain life when hitting an opponent at the cost of spirit. |
Light Armor | Increases your defense while wearing light armor. |
Lockpicking | Allows your character to pick locks on doors and chests. |
Lumberjacking | Allows you to chop trees for wood. |
Mace Fighting | Allows you to equip and use maces in combat. |
Magic Resist | Passively reduces the amount of damage and negative effects that you take from spells. |
Mining | Allows you to dig up resources from mountains and caves. |
Mundane Magic | Allows you to add mundane magic scrolls to your spell book and cast them. No true focus, offers a number of utility spells useful in many situations. |
Necromancy | Allows you to add necromancy scrolls to your spell book and cast them. Focuses on reanimating the dead, curses and killing the living. |
Poison Resist | Passively reduces the chance of being poisoned. |
Poisoning | Allows you to poison food and blades for use against npcs and players in combat. |
Prayer | Allows you to add prayer scrolls to your spell book and use them. Focuses on blessings, holyness, and healing. |
Protection | Toggable skill that allows you to take damage that a nearby ally would normally take at the cost of spirit points. |
Rejuvenation | Toggleable skill that allows you to regain life at a faster pace while out of combat and still. |
Shields | Allows you to equip and use shields. Shields can help significantly reduce damage taken by opponents. |
Staves | Allows you to equip and use staff weapons. |
Stealing | Allows you to steal random items from npcs and players. |
Summoning | Allows you to add summoning scrolls to your spell book and cast them. Focuses on summoning wild and magical creatures to fight by your side in combat. |
Sword Fighting | Allows you to equip and use swords in combat. |
Throwing | Allows you to throw daggers, exploding potions and even some axes. |
Trap Disarming | Passively disarms traps when they would otherwise be triggered. |
Trapping | Allows you to place hidden traps on tiles, doors and chests. |
Whips and Flails | Allows you to equip and use whips and flails in combat. |
White Magic | Allows you to add white magic scrolls to your spell book and cast them. Focuses on strong cold and lightning based spells as well as numerous defensive spells. |
